The Arabella House in Historic Downtown Ventura

Walk, roll and play at our 1882 Victorian located just blocks from the beach and historic downtown Ventura.

Set against the backdrop of mountain and ocean in historic downtown Ventura, our 1882 Victorian home offers an accommodation as unique as our guests and strikes an inviting and playful balance between modern comforts and classic details.

The Arabella House includes 3 spacious en-suite bedrooms outfitted with luxury beds and linens. 2 parlors, a dining room, a service kitchen and front porch are also designed for your exclusive use during your stay.

The kitchen includes an original 1880s range that has been updated with 4 electric burners and 1 small electric oven. Affectionately referred to as "the White Whale," please note the oven is petite and will not accommodate large pizzas or poultry.

There is also a farm sink, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave along with pots, pans, serving ware, and pantry basics.

Our Main Street location means the bells of City Hall, a distant train and the hum of downtown make up the soundtrack during your stay.

It also means an array of delicious eateries, bars, beaches, Patagonia's flagship store and cultural spaces are all truly within walking distance. Enjoy the Ventura Pier, C Street, San Buena Ventura Mission, Ventura County Museum, Rubicon Theatre, the Majestic Ventura Theater and downtown Ventura.

Stroll to the pier, local boutiques, bars, and eateries. Gather provisions at the Farmer's Market. Explore cultural treasures and musical venues. Or simply unfurl on the front porch with a good book and a sundowner.

Please note all 3 bedrooms are outfitted with air conditioning however, the downstairs has heat only.

The backyard is shared with the SWELL Studio which may or may not be occupied during your stay.
